คุณ !! รู้หรือไม่ว่า Sound on board ของคุณ (ส่วนใหญ่ น่าจะเป็น Realtek AC97)
มันทำให้ cpu แรงระดับเทพ ของคุณประมวลผลช้าลงได้แค่ไหน

จากความรู้เดิม ระดับอึ่ง ของผมเอง การประมวลผลในด้านเสียงช่างกิน cpu อันน้อยนิด
ทำให้เลิกใส่ใจ และหันมาซื้อแต่ลำโพง เพื่อพลังเสียงเท่านั้น อัพเครื่องแล้ว อัพเครื่องอีก
สเปกก็สูง จนถึงระดับ recommended ของเกมนั้นๆ (เช่น C&C3 ที่ผมเล่นในปัจจุบัน)
ก็ยังเล่นแล้วกระตุก หนืดๆ เพราะอะไรบางอย่างก็ไม่รู้

การแยกประมวลผลเสียง ออกจากเดิม ซึ่งรวมกับเมนบอร์ด ทำให้ได้ยินเสียงปืนครบทุกเม็ด
และทุกครั้งที่สิ่งก่อสร้างระเบิด เสียงบึมมม พร้อมสิ่งก่อสร้างพังครืนน ไม่มีการหน่วงหรือกระตุก

และ Frame per sec โดยรวม เพิ่มขึ้นประมาณ 30% (เห็นได้ชัดด้วยตาเปล่า)
ทำให้ลื่นขึ้น ดีขึ้น เดี๋ยวจะไปลองกับเกมอื่นมั่ง แฮ่ๆ


ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นผลการทดสอบจากเครื่องของผมเอง และเครื่องผมตอนนี้ สามารถเล่น C&C 3 ได้ลื่นกว่าตอนที่ยังไม่มี sound card ถึงประมาณ 30%

C&C3 เล่นที่ความละเอียด 1024x768 บนจอ19นิ้ว และเปิด FSAA 4x


เห็นได้ว่า การ์ดเสียงราคาไม่แพง ก็ทำให้เครื่องคุณแรงขึ้นมาก โดยไม่ต้องเพิ่มแรม
ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยน cpu ก็เล่นเกมใหม่ล่าสุดได้เร็วขึ้น . . . มาก
